The Arts Society Isle of Wight

We are a friendly society and offer a warm welcome to current and new members.

Our aims are:

  1. to promote the appreciation of decorative and fine arts 
  2. to preserve of our artistic heritage.  

The Arts Society Isle of Wight is a charity and was founded in 1982. (Charity #1089743)

Our 45th Season  starts on 22rd September with our AGM at 1pm followed by our first lecture and will continue through to July 2027, go to the Lectures section to view the programme.  Please check our News section for further details, which will be published as they become available. Lectures are also normally broadcast on Zoom for members who for whatever reason cannot attend in person

In addition we organise Social Events, Visits to places of interest, in-depth Study Days, occasional social lunches and Short Tours at home and abroad, details are under the appropriate headings.

Visitors are most welcome, either in person or via zoom, - a donation of £10 per Lecture is made. Bookings must be made in advance, through the lecture page of the website

We hope to bring you an exciting and informative programme.  All Members are urged to check our website regularly for any updates or changes to the published programme. For members without internet, please contact any of our committee members or me to check that a particular event is still taking place.

NORTHWOOD HOUSE LUNCHES

We are very pleased to announce that pre-lecture lunches will be available this season, if the numbers are sufficient.  
So please do book well in advance.  The food is delicious, in wonderful surroundings and at a reasonable price.  

It is a great opportunity to meet up with friends and to make new ones.
Members are sent a personal link by email but  here it is again, and visitors are also welcome to join us for a delicious lunch.

The Registration Desk is in the Northwood House Main Corridor before the Dining Room, where you will find Secretaries Desks and tea and coffee available before and after the lecture. The Lecture will be in The Ballroom.
